The Hope & Grace Portrait Initiative
I started Help Keep Hope as a teenager with a desire to serve families and create real change. Many years later, I built Carley Porta Photography to celebrate motherhood, children, and life’s most meaningful milestones. Today, those two passions come together through the Hope & Grace Portrait Initiative - providing portrait experiences and support to families who need it most.

How It Works
Because every family deserves to be seen, honored, and remembered.
Step 1
Apply or Nominate
Families may apply for support directly, or a friend, teacher, church leader, therapist, or community member may nominate a deserving family.
We welcome stories from families navigating disability, young motherhood, foster care, military hardship, medical challenges, or other extraordinary seasons.
Step 2
Review Process
Each submission is privately reviewed through the Hope & Grace Portrait Initiative.
We consider each family’s story, current season of need, availability, and how we can best serve them with compassion and fairness.
All information remains confidential.
Step 3
Scheduling Your Session
Selected families are personally contacted to begin planning a meaningful portrait experience.
Sessions are customized to each family’s needs.
We strive to make every experience peaceful, beautiful, and pressure-free.
Step 4
Images + Support Delivered
Families receive professionally edited portraits to treasure for years to come.
When available, additional support may also be provided through Help Keep Hope, including:
-
baby essentials
-
gift cards
-
community referrals
-
donated items
-
encouragement resources
Because memories matter, and support does too.
Give Beauty. Give Hope.
Your generosity helps families receive more than photographs - it gives them tangible reminders of love during seasons they may never forget
